Do custom colors cost more than standard colors?
No. We are able to offer custom color as a courtesy.

How long does it take to get a custom strike-off?
Turnaround time for strike-offs is 1-2 weeks. Please inquire if you need it sooner.

Will it add to the production lead time for orders?
No. You can place an order to secure your place in the production line. We'll make the strike-off and once you approve it, we'll attach it to the order.

What if I need my order it in a rush?
We can accommodate rushes. Rush surcharge of 25% may apply.

Is it a complicated process?
Not at all!. A $90 materials fee is charged, which will be applied as payment towards your order. Send your check and along with the color reference and instructions. If we have any questions we'll phone you. In about two weeks we send you the strike-off for approval. The fee is waived for contract firms.

What is the minimum yardage for a custom order?
The minimum order for custom is 40 yards—the amount you’d need for an average-sized powder room. If you need less than that, consider that you'll have attic stock for repairs!

Can you match any color?
Our expert colorist can match any color, however, the inherent nature of the materials we work with will ultimately dictate what is achievable.

What if I see the strike-off and I want to change something?
If you would like to tweak the color or technique we'll make another, and even another, if necessary, at no charge.

Can you make custom designs too?
Yes. We can make custom textures and patterns in venetian plaster or custom stencils and silk screens for use on any of our wallpaper types. You provide the art or we'll design it for you. One-time set-up fees will apply. Please inquire.

The standard color is "close enough." Why should I do a custom color?
Why compromise when you can customize? Get the color "spot on" at no additional cost. The minimum yardage requirement is only 40 yards. It doesn't add to the lead time and the process is simple.

I ran short or need to make repairs. How do I order more of my custom wallpaper?
For reorders you will need to submit a working sample for us to match to. Although an exact match can't guaranteed, we will get the color as perfect as possible. Current lead times will apply. In order to avoid the inconvenience; the additional time and any involved costs that arise as a result of ordering short, please verify yardage requirements and purchase attic stock. An experienced paper hanger with full knowlegde of the site particulars is the best person to determine yardage requirements.
